These are the rules for using easyriderentals.net and booking through it — they're separate from the Rental Agreement you sign when you actually pick up a car.
Be honest in your booking info, don't misuse the site, and the prices/availability you see are estimates until confirmed at pickup.
We're not liable for things outside our reasonable control, and disputes go through arbitration rather than court, as explained in Section 11.
01 Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EasyRide Rentals website, mobile experience, and booking tools (together, the "Site"), operated by EasyRide Rentals LLC, 5084 Bristor Dr, Sterling Heights, MI 48310 ("EasyRide," "we," "us," or "our"). By browsing the Site, creating an account, or submitting a booking request, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
These Terms apply to your use of the Site itself. The separate Rental Agreement governs the actual rental of a vehicle, and is presented and signed at the time of booking confirmation or vehicle pickup. Where the two conflict on a matter specific to a rental, the Rental Agreement controls.
02 Who can use the site
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit a booking request on the Site. Renting a vehicle has its own, separate eligibility requirements (valid driver's license, minimum age for the vehicle class, etc.), which are set out in the Rental Agreement and confirmed during the verification step of booking.
You're responsible for ensuring that any information you submit — your name, contact details, license information, payment method — is accurate and kept up to date.
03 Your account
Some features, like managing a booking or saving payment details, require an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at the contact below if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe has been used fraudulently, in violation of these Terms, or to circumvent our verification process (for example, repeated use of mismatched identity documents).
04 Bookings made through the site
The Site lets you check vehicle availability, see estimated pricing, and submit a booking request. A booking is not final until you receive a confirmation and complete identity verification (license and photo match) — this is part of how we're able to skip a credit check.
Pricing shown is an estimate. Final price depends on the vehicle actually available at pickup, the protection plan you choose, applicable taxes, and any add-ons selected at the counter.
Availability isn't guaranteed until confirmed. In rare cases of a fleet shortfall, we'll offer a comparable or upgraded vehicle, or a full refund of any prepaid amount, your choice.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time are fully refundable. Cancellations made after that window may be subject to a fee, as shown at the time of booking.
05 Acceptable use
When using the Site, you agree not to:
Submit false, stolen, or someone else's identity or payment information;
Attempt to circumvent our verification, fraud-screening, or booking systems;
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the normal operation of the Site;
Use the Site to submit a booking you don't genuinely intend to honor; or
Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, including to plan or facilitate an unlawful act involving a rented vehicle.
We may cancel a booking or restrict access to the Site for conduct that violates this section.
06 Reviews & content you submit
If you submit a review, rating, or other content through the Site, you're confirming it reflects your genuine experience and you grant EasyRide a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and adapt that content in connection with promoting our services — for example, featuring a quote on this Site.
We may remove content that's fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise violates these Terms, though we don't pre-screen every submission.
07 Our intellectual property
The EasyRide Rentals name, logo, and the design, text, and graphics that make up the Site are owned by EasyRide or our licensors and are protected by trademark and copyright law. You may view and use the Site for your own personal, non-commercial purpose of booking a rental — nothing here grants you rights to reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our branding or content without written permission.
08 Disclaimers
The Site and the information on it (including estimated pricing, vehicle photos, and availability) are provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep this accurate, we don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every vehicle class shown will be available at every location at all times.
Vehicle images on the Site are representative of the class booked and may not depict the exact make, model, or color you receive.
09 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasyRide and its officers, employees, and affiliates won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site — for example, lost time, lost income, or a missed connection — even if we've been advised such damages were possible.
This limitation doesn't apply to liability that can't be limited under applicable law, and it's separate from the liability and damage terms specific to an actual rental, which are addressed in the Rental Agreement.
10 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold EasyRide harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right in connection with your use of the Site.
11 Disputes & arbitration
If a disagreement comes up, we'd genuinely rather hear from you directly first — most things can be sorted out by contacting support. If we can't resolve it informally within 30 days, you and EasyRide agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law or for claims that qualify for small-claims court.
This means you and EasyRide each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. The arbitration will be administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, in Macomb County, Michigan, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time — for example, to reflect a new feature or a change in law. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, provide more direct notice. Continuing to use the Site after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
